General Description

The RAK7289V2 and its RAK7289CV2 variant represent the top of the range of RAKwireless industrial LoRaWAN® gateways. Equipped with a dual SX1303 hub , they enable up to 16 simultaneous LoRa channels , ensuring the smooth management of thousands of messages in large-scale IoT deployments.

Their IP67/NEMA-6 enclosure ensures complete weather resistance. These gateways offer complete connectivity: Ethernet, Wi-Fi 2x2 MIMO and LTE Cat 4 (optional) , with integrated antennas (Wi-Fi, LTE, GPS) and external LoRa antennas via N-Type connectors.

Software management is based on OpenWRT-based WisGateOS 2 , with OTA support, WireGuard/OpenVPN VPN , and centralized management via WisDM . The gateway supports Packet Forwarder, Basic Station, MQTT TLS, ZTP and is compatible with TTN, ChirpStack, Actility, Loriot, AWS IoT .
